Shakespeare in Love





This exquisite tiara is made of pearls with an inset of a silver net dotted with pearls. This headpiece fits closely with the net inset across the top of the head. The recommended veil is a chapel length in 108" wide bridal illusion.

This style is called "Shakespeare in Love" because it resembles headdresses from the Renaissance. It is carefully sewn by hand so that the stitches are hidden and to make it long-lasting. The base is made of satin-covered heavy wire. The pearls are strung and then wired to the frame, not glued, so that it looks delicate, yet is very strong. The wire net insert is knotted by hand and each pearl is placed within the net as it is woven.
